Videoton FC sign Adam Simon

The 24 year old midfielder has signed a four year deal with Videoton.

Adam Simon was born in Salgótarján on the 30th March 1990. He came through the local Salgótarjáni BTC and then MTK, although he signed his first professional contract with Szombathely Haladas, where he played between 2008-2011. Italian club Palermo signed Simon in 2011, and he also had loan periods at both Bari, and then Haladas. Adam Simon was part of the 2009 U20 international side that finished in third place in the World cup in Egypt. Vidi's new signing has signed a four year deal.

"I am very happy that I could sign for the Székesfehérvár club, which is a big challenge to play for Videoton. I want to prove as soon as I can that it was worth signing me. My aim is to break in to the starting line-up and produce good performances. It will not be that easy as there are really good players here in the team. I think that it is a completely realistic target to get into a position, which would mean qualifying for European competition. I hope that I can also do my bit to help the club do well. I know Istvan Kovacs as I played with him at Haladas. I also believe that I will quickly blend in with the others" - commented Adam Simon to Vidi.hu.
