The two managers shared their thoughts shortly after Thursday's final whistle.
Marko Nikolic:
There is no doubt that this is my toughest evening since my time here. Actually it is the biggest loss of my whole managerial career. Naturally I take responsibility for what has happened as I prepared them. We have been successful up until now but this is a big failure. I can only say what I have told the players in the dressing room: football is a simple and honest game with the ball being the most simple thing on the ground. We now got from the sport what we deserved even if it is hard to explain the two conceded goals against Vaduz. We missed 20 big chances over the two matches and some that were impossible to miss. I believed in us going through all the time and I was shouting at my team when the ball was out of play. We did not score a goal and there is a reason for this and you cannot put this down to fortune. I want to thank the supporters who came over here in such numbers to back the team. I do not want to say out loud about the talks that will happen within the club as these will remain inside. I do agree that something does have to happen."

Mario Frick:
Our big dreams came through and I am proud of my team. It is always important for a coach for the tactics to work in a new period. The players believe in it and it worked out really well. We calmed down after the first 25-30 minutes and played with more freedom. I had nothing else to do that to ask for them to carry things on. They did this to the full in the 90 minutes and during extra time. With regards to our keeper Buchel, he was the man of the match and she showed why he is captain. He also showed why he is the number one for the international team. I would also add that we felt throughout that they did not take us seriously. That was a massive mistake and it motivated us as a result."
