"Our teamwork is starting to take shape, and we are building a foundation that we can build on in the long term."

Our team's league match against Tiszakécskei LC will kick off at 5 p.m. on Sunday at the Sóstó.

"We have had a long break from league football, which we tried to use to refine the constantly changing, expanding, and shrinking squad and turn it into a team as soon as possible, as well as to improve our game. There were player transfers at the end of the transfer window and afterwards, so we can say that we have had a very extreme transfer window, with the squad constantly changing, while we had to play league matches in the meantime. I am confident that those who have joined us in recent weeks will be a serious reinforcement for the team. Over the past two weeks, we have been trying to bring the players' physical condition closer to each other, as some of them arrived in different conditions, including those who previously played a decisive role in NB I. We played two matches during the league break, a valuable training match against Zalaegerszeg, followed by a successful cup match against Szentlőrinc. In both matches, we tried out new things and formations, and we tried to find the right players for this system of play. There were very encouraging signs in both matches, as well as periods that we were not satisfied with. The latter must be minimized, and the successful periods must be extended. The team responded well to the new things, and we can say that our team play and the framework on which we can build in the long term are beginning to take shape. I hope that we can carry the form we have shown over the past two weeks into the league match. We are facing a very difficult match, as our opponents are full of experienced players who have played in the first division and at international level. They are also physically strong, but we have to focus on ourselves. Apart from the match against Honvéd, our play and results at home give us reason to be optimistic. With the exception of the Honvéd match, we haven't conceded a goal, so this may be the way forward, and I am confident that we will start collecting wins in the league as well," - head coach Gábor Boér told our website before the league match against Tiszakécske.
