"We always want to win at home despite who we play"

Our team's home league match against Aqvital FC Csákvár will kick off at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday at the Sóstói Stadium. Our head coach's expectations can be read below.

"In the match against Ajka, there were areas where the team showed clear positives for the future. We knew that team building would not be a quick and easy process, and although the pre-season matches also paint a picture, it is in the competitive matches that we can develop what we want to play in the long term, by which I mean the system of play and the things that can be the team's strengths. We have made progress in these areas and in building team unity, which is also an important task for us. Our rivals already had an established squad, while we had to rebuild the team from scratch, but we want to take another step forward this weekend, get a result and keep the three points at home. We are facing a strong team that has started the new season well and is currently at the top of the table with six points, but it is still too early in the league to realistically assess the balance of power. No matter who comes to the Sóstó, we always want to win at home, and that will be the case on Sunday as well. Our preparations this week have gone well, our injured players are gradually returning to team training, and we have the depth in our squad to replace them. We were very happy with the positive atmosphere created by our fans in the last two league games, for which we thank them. I am confident that on Sunday our fans will turn up in large numbers and cheer us on with the same enthusiasm, which means a lot to the team," said head coach Gábor Boér to our website ahead of the match against Csákvár.
