Our team's league match against Kecskeméti TE will kick off at 8 p.m. on Monday at the Széktói Stadium.
“We were disappointed with the result against Csákvár, as we had a lot of chances that went without them being turned into goals. At the same time, it is encouraging that we created so many chances against such a deep-defending team; we have made progress in this regard. We knew, and I have said before, that team building is not an easy process and that August will be a difficult month in terms of finding the right team and lineup, but we will of course try to achieve this as quickly as possible. I think we have made progress from game to game, a lot compared to the first league game, which is already evident in the number of goals conceded and the chances created, but unfortunately not yet in the number of goals scored. We are constantly practicing these situations, but the game situation is always different. We try to prepare the players mentally so that they can remain calm and composed, but it is difficult to influence individual decisions. This week, the focus was on the league match against Kecskemét, and we put last week's match behind us during the first video analysis. Our opponents have serious NB I experience and, like us, have just been relegated from NB I, but they have managed to keep several key players. I'm expecting a very difficult match. I think Kecskemét are further ahead in their development because they have been able to build a team around a core group and are physically very strong. They didn't start the season well either, but I think they will be a decisive team this season. At the moment, they are still the favorites, but we would like to cause a surprise and take another step forward, not only in terms of play but also in terms of results," head coach Gábor Boér told our website before Monday evening's match.
