We left Debrecen without a point.
After the national team break, our team played away at the home of DVSC on Sunday afternoon. Head coach Bartosz Grzelak could not count on Fiola and Larsen due to injury, and he named the following eleven players in the starting line-up.: Tóth B. - Csongvai, Serafimov, Gergényi - Bese, Kalmár, Flores, Katona, Schön - Szabó L., Kodro.
Loki took the lead early on, in the 7th minute: Loncar collided with Kalmar in the home half, Berke saw no foul, and at the end of the action Bárány found the net from close range. The goal was initially disallowed for offside, but after a VAR review it was ruled that the home team had found the net under legal circumstances (1-0). In the 12th minute Szabó shot at goal following a pass from Bese, Megyeri saved well.
In the 28th minute, Bárány handled 25 yards from the home goal, Kalmár took the free kick and if Megyeri hadn't saved bravely, we would have equalised, the ball would have probably found the far corner. In the 33rd minute, DVSC doubled their lead, with Bárány's pass being converted by Domingues from close range (2-0). Towards the end of the half, Balázs Tóth's minutes were next, firstly Dzsudzsák's 22-metre shot was well saved by our goalkeeper, then Loncar's close-range free-kick was saved with a smart stop.
We started the second part of the game in a positive way, and in less than a minute we scored in the home goal! Kodro gave a good pass to Levente Szabó, who calmly rolled the ball into the far corner to beat Megyeri (2-1).
In the 50th minute, Domingues' 14-metre shot was saved by Tóth, then a long-range effort bounced past the left post. Shortly afterwards, Donát Bárány took a dangerous free kick. The match continued at a good pace, in the 57th minute Kalmár's shot was saved by Megyeri, then Bévárdi, who came on as a substitute, shot from 14 metres out from his first touch, Tóth saved well. In the 61st minute, Loncar shot 11 metres from goal following Bévárdi's pass, Serafimov and Tóth cobined to clear the danger.
Ten minutes later, the home team's lead grew to two goals again, Domingues and Loncar showed good skill and the French winger finally finished the job (3-1). In the 84th minute, Dzsudzsák raced down the right flank, his cross was perfect for Vajdas, who was unmarked at the back post, but he shot wide of the goal in a clear situation. In injury time, Bódi could have scored, but Tóth made a great save from the former player's 8-metre shot.
In the next match, on Saturday at 14:45, our team will host DVTK in the Sóstói Stadion.
