The Miskolc team awaits the 11th round from fifth place in the table.
On Saturday at 14:45 the NB1 newcomers DVTK visit the Sóstói Stadium. This will be the 77th league match between the two teams. Out of the 76 meetings so far, 42 have been won, 10 have ended in draws and there have been 24 Miskolc victories. The goal difference is 125-77 in our favour. With Viid as a home side, DVTK have won only eight league games so far, with six draws and 24 wins at home for Vidi.
Last season, DVTK won the NB II championship by a landslide and returned to the top league. They started the 2023/2024 season with a 1-0 home defeat against PAFC, but since then they have won three points in five games with one draw and three defeats, so after ten rounds they are fifth in the table with 16 points. DVTK have conceded the fewest goals in the league after FTC and Paks, with the two green-and-white teams letting in 12 goals so far, while DVTK have 13 and, like us, Miskolc have scored 18 goals so far in the league.
The summer has seen a huge player turnover for our opponents on Saturday, with the starting line-up usually including newcomers Edomwonyi, Pernambuco, Godfrey Bitok, Vallejo, Sentic (although new signing Odincov also played in the previous round for tactical reasons) and Rudi Pozeg, but Julien Celestine, for example, has already left Miskolc, and Real Madrid-born Feuillassier suffered a serious injury in his first game. DVTK are captained by Gergő Holdampf, who has previously played for Haladás, Kispest and Újpest, and their surprise player is Dániel Gera - the winger until the summer, who at 29 is a reliable full-back in a new position for him this season.
