Head coaches Tamás Pető and Csaba Pintér analyzed the league match that ended in a 1-1 draw.
Tamás Pető:
“The team seemed a bit frazzled throughout the entire match; we weren’t as sharp as we’ve been in recent weeks, which might be partly due to the long bus ride or the weather. We were rushing things, made a lot of bad decisions, and committed technical errors. We knew our opponents had good players and played boldly going forward; in the last five minutes, the match could have gone either way. Overall, it was a fair result. I’m sorry our winning streak came to an end, which can partly be attributed to the referee, who denied us a legitimate goal that could have secured the victory.”

Csaba Pintér:
“We’re left with a bit of a sense of disappointment, because based on our chances, we were closer to the win, but in the end, both sides had one big opportunity each. We played against a very good team; it wasn’t an easy match, but I’m very proud of the team for keeping the game under control throughout. We dictated the pace and didn’t let Fehérvár play the game they’re strong at. The fans saw a very good match—it was a fast-paced, pulsing game.”
