Vidi strengthened with an experienced attacking midfielder

We have strengthened our squad with an experienced attacking midfielder: Donát Zsótér, who previously played for Videoton, is returning to Fehérvár!

Born on 1st June 1996, in Szeged, the midfielder made his debut in our senior team at the age of 16 in a League Cup match against ZTE in 2012, then played on loan at Szolnok, Dunaújváros, and Puskás Akadémia. He was then signed by Belgian club Sint-Truidense, who loaned him to Budapest Honvéd, with whom he celebrated the NB I championship title at the end of the 2016/2017 season. In 2017, he signed with Újpest, where he won the Hungarian Cup with the team in 2018, scoring his team's first goal in the final. Between 2020 and 2023, he played for Honvéd again, and between 2023 and 2025, he turned out for Kecskemét.

He has scored 25 goals and provided 30 assists in 284 matches in the Hungarian top division, 3 goals and 4 assists in 13 matches in NB II, and 3 goals and 4 assists in 25 cup matches. He also played in 6 Europa League qualifiers, scoring 2 goals and providing 2 assists. He has played for every Hungarian national team from U16 to U21, and in 2019 he was invited to join the senior national team.
