We have extended Benedek Murka's contract

Vidi has extended the contract of Benedek Murka, so the 28-year-old midfielder will continue to play for Videoton FC Fehérvár starting this summer!

Murka arrived in Székesfehérvár in July 2025 and has been a regular starter for our team throughout the 2025/2026 season. He started in 17 matches in the Merkantil Bank Liga NB II and 2 matches in the MOL Hungarian Cup, and scored two goals in the league during the spring, against Kecskemét and Tiszakécske. Thanks to his very good performance in the spring season, he was named in the best XI on csakfoci.hu twice in recent weeks, following league matches against Csákvár and Kecskemét.

"I joined a team in an uncertain situation this summer; you could say I was stepping into the unknown, but by now I clearly feel that the club has a bright future ahead. I want to be an active part of that, so there was no question that we would quickly reach an agreement with the management on extending my contract. Our game is coming together better and better on the field, and a team is taking shape that we hope will be able to compete for bigger goals next year.
