Dárdai, Kodro, Stopira, Petryak and Zivzivadze scored against Petrocub Hincesti from Moldova at MOL Arena Sósto!
On Thursday evening FC Petrocub Hincesti from Moldova were the guests of our team at the MOL Arena Sósto. Michael Boris made four changes to the Paks starting eleven, so the eleven of Kovács D. - Fiola, Stopira, Shabanov - Nego, Rúben Pinto, Bumba, Hangya - Dárdai, Petryak - Kodro took to the field in red and blue.

In the 10th minute, our team had the first chance, with a 13-meter shot at goal, which went wide of the target. In the 18th minute, the visitors came close to taking the lead when Ambros' 16-metre shot bounced off the post, but two minutes later we had the lead: after a cross from Hangya, Dárdai's first shot was saved by the Moldovan goalkeeper, but Palkó put the rebound into the net (1-0)!

The first goal was quickly followed by the second, in the 22nd minute the visitors' goalkeeper Avram fouled Kodro inside the penalty area, the penalty was awarded and Kodro shot low into the bottom right corner (2-0)!

Even with the two-goal lead, our team did not stop, Dárdai was tackled by the defenders, and then Stopira scored our third goal, as he headed into the right side of the goal in the 35th minute after Dárdai's right corner (3-0)!

There were no further goals in the remaining first half and in the two-minute extra time, so we went into the break with a comfortable lead thanks to our confident play and three goals. At the break, our head coach made two changes, with Funsho and Zivzivadze replacing Dárdai and Kodro, the two goalscorers.

In the 55th minute, Bumba's free-kick was headed over the bar, and three minutes later Funsho's cross to the top right was just wide of the target. Nego's cross was well saved by Avram who palmed the ball away, and in the 67th minute Vidi scored their fourth goal, with Funsho's superb cross into the middle of the box being converted home by Petryak (4-0).

In the 75th minute, Peter Pokorny, who made his debut for Vidi on Thursday night, had a fine shot that went wide of the Moldovan goal, and five minutes later Zivzivadze tried to shoot but Avram did not have to save. In the 89th minute Petryak was fouled inside the penalty area and the Icelandic referee awarded a penalty. Budu Zivzivadze tapped in the 5th goal of the night - the visiting keeper also got a hand on it, but couldn't save the powerful shot (5-0)!

With a great game our team has gained a confident advantage for next week's return match on Thursday, but before the tour to Moldova we will host Budapest Honvéd at 20:00 on Sunday at the MOL Arena Sósto!
