Our team created numerous chances against Csákvár, but the visitors' young goalkeeper had a very good day and we were unable to get the better of Lehoczki.

Our county rivals started the match better, and by the end of the second minute, the visitors had already taken their second corner kick, which was not without danger, but our defenders were ultimately able to clear the ball. In the sixth minute, Helembai won the ball in midfield and carried on towards our box, where he shot at goal, but Nagy made a diving save in the home goal.
At the other end, Patrik Kovács had his moments: in the 7th minute, he missed a great chance, shooting wide, and shortly afterwards, he was just a hair's breadth away from scoring from a cross from the wing. In the 15th minute, Patrik Kovács shot just wide from close range after a good pass from Kálnoki-Kis, while Bányai threatened with a header from the Csákvár side. The second half began with a chance for Videoton, but Lehoczki made a superb save to deny Varga from close range. We kept up the momentum and in the 57th minute, Patrik Kovács was brought down 18 meters from the Csákvár goal, but even lying on the ground, he did a great job of holding off Kálnoki-Kiss, who then shot just wide from 15 meters. In the remaining minutes, the result did not change. Our team played much better than our opponents, creating countless chances, but we failed to score and had two penalties denied by the referee.
In the 20th minute, Roland Varga took a free kick from a good 20 meters out, and our attacker's shot was heading for the right corner, but Lehoczki made a great save, diving in the air. Three minutes later, Simut sprinted forward with the ball and passed to Kovács, who, after a feint, curled a beautiful shot from 17 meters that hit the crossbar! Ten minutes before the break, Bányai shot powerfully from 14 meters, but the ball went just wide of our goal.
In the 37th minute, Varga broke into the box with a nice move and passed to Kovács, who shot low from five meters out, but Lehoczki made another smart save. After our corner kick, Szabó pulled Simut down inside the box, but the referee's whistle remained silent. The last moment of the half was a close header by Kálnoki-Kis, but the ball went over the goal. Our team played better than our opponents and came closer to scoring, but the two teams went into the half-time break with the score at 0-0..
In the 62nd minute, Varga threatened from distance, and ten minutes later, Lehoczki made another great save to deny Kálnoki-Kiss from close range. With a quarter of an hour to go, there was another penalty incident inside the Csákvár box when Bertók was brought down by two visiting defenders inside the six-yard box, but the referee's whistle remained silent.
Our team will visit Kecskemét in the next round on Monday evening, August 18.
