The game started at a good pace, with Balázs Dzsudzsák creating the first chance for the home side, his long-range shot was blocked by Áron Csongvai. In the 6th minute, Mátyás Katona played a neat ball to Karamoko, who broke into the penalty area, but his shot was saved by Balázs Megyeri, who was able to turn the ball away in front of Christensen, who could not find the net with several defenders around. In the 13th minute, the next chance came for the visitors: a big throw-in by Bence Gergényi was flicked on by Barnabás Bese, but Katona's header rattled off the crossbar. Three minutes later, Katona's shot from the left corner of the penalty area was cleared by the home goalkeeper.

DVSC tried, but the quick counter-attacks of Fehérvár were more dangerous. In the 23rd minute, Karamoko cut inside from the left, his low shot was no problem for Megyeri. Balázs Tóth closed the angle well and saved the shot from a sharp angle from the home player as the action continued. It was a fierce fight for every ball, Dzsudzsák's curling free kick was easily saved by our goalkeeper. In the 30th minute, a counterattack ended with Szabolcs Schön braking through on goal, his shot was pushed awqy by Megyeri with Karamoko present and he shot over from ten metres out. In the first half, Debrecen had more possession, but our team was more effective, and this was reflected in the number of situations.

After the break, our team created the first chance: first a promising two-on-one was blocked by the closing home defenders, who found Christensen, then in the 50th minute after a good pass by Dávid Sigér, Karamoko shot wide from ten meters. The tempo slowed down from earlier in the game and the many fouls did not favour a steady game with plenty of stops and starts. In the 63rd minute Karamoko fought hard for the ball and was rewarded with a free kick. Csongvai stood behind the ball and his 22-metre shot just missed the top corner. The battle was becoming increasingly tense, and the yellow card came out of the referee's pocket several times. In the 76th minute, Sigér raced down the right, his cross was cleared by Megyeri, and Christensen's shot was saved by Debrecen's keeper. The cold shower came in the 79th minute: Dreskovic volleyed the ball into the net from 15 metres out (1-0). Bartosz Grzelak made some substitutions to freshen up his team. In the 86th minute, Márk Szécsi dodged between three men and shot at the goal from inside the 16-yard box, but Tóth saved the shot well.

The result did not change, so the last round will decide whether we finish the 2023/2024 season in 2nd, 3rd or 4th place. If we beat Diósgyőr in the final round, our team will definitely finish in the top three.
