The visitors took the lead in the first half, but Hesz equalized before the break, and Murka decided the match in our favor in the second half.
Our team welcomed Kecskeméti TE to the Sóstói Stadium in the closing match of the 19th round of the Merkantil Bank Liga NB II, with six home-grown players in the squad. Head coach Tamás Pető sent Nagy, Virágh, Kocsis G., Hesz, Kovács K., Somogyi, Murka, Zsótér, Haraszti, Németh, and Bedi onto the pitch as the starting eleven.

In the 6th minute, Somogyi's shot bounced off a defender's head and went out for a corner, then in the 8th minute, Nagy easily saved Szabó's attempt on the other side. In the 9th minute, Belényesi headed wide after a corner from the left by Kecskemét, and in the 27th minute, Derekas broke behind our defenders and lobbed the ball over Nagy into the goal (0-1). In the 34th minute, Németh broke forward on the left, but his shot was saved by Varga at the near post.
In the 34th minute, Gergő Kocsis' shot was saved by the goalkeeper, but we equalized in the 38th minute! Haraszti's shot bounced in front of Hesz, who scored his first goal in his first Vidi league match, placing it nicely in the bottom left corner (1-1). The first half ended with a 1-1 score.
After the break, we turned the game around with our first big chance: in the 56th minute, Virágh crossed into the middle, and Murka scored with a spectacular shot under the crossbar (2-1)! In the 69th minute, Bolgár's shot went wide, and in the 71st minute, Hesz's 15-meter attempt was saved by the goalkeeper. In the final stages of the match, Kecskemét tried to put pressure on our goal, but they only managed to create a chance at the end of added time following a corner, but our defenders cleared the ball. The result remained unchanged, and we are now on a three-match winning streak in the Merkantil Bank League as we travel to Békéscsaba next Monday.
