Michael Boris: "We have to show our true colours"

"We are playing against a second division team, so we are the favourites, but Győr also beat Puskás Akadémi earlier, so there is no question that we will need maximum concentration. The players put a lot of energy into the match against Paks and we managed to achieve a lot of things, but of course everyone is disappointed that we were left without a point. We will need the same attitude against Győr from the first minute, we cannot give them an extra centimetre, we have to show our true colours. We have to play smart, we have to run a lot, we have to fight hard and shoot a lot, create situations, because this is the style of play that will beat our opponents. As I mentioned before, Vidi's goal is always to win trophies, and this season we have a chance to do that only in the MOL Hungarian Cup, and I know how important that is for the club and the fans. We also have to fight for international cup qualification, which we have a better chance of doing in the cup, based on the number of matches. We'll play twice in four days this week, but that's not a problem because we have a strong squad and I believe in every single player and the work we do," said head coach Michael Boris ahead of the MOL Hungarian Cup quarter-final against ETO FC Győr.
